Örama

01 — Örama · orama.works

Books that refuse to sit still.

Örama is the WebBooks marketplace of NÖRGRU. The file ends in .wb5. It is written in Studio, read in Reader, and — when Örama lists it — sold with the writer keeping sixty.

The catalog

Highlighted

The catalog

The arc above is only what Örama is highlighting. This is the shelf: every WebBook, searched and paged, so it still holds when there are hundreds.

7 on the shelf

Not a PDF

A WebBook can move, hold plates, and still be a book. EPUB and PDF stop. .wb5 is the Örama format.

Offline-first

The file is the work. Örama Reader does not need the shop to be open once the book is on the device.

A list, not a dump

Örama lists what it will stand behind. Stripe takes the money and can split it. Örama keeps forty.

01

Write

Örama Studio, free, exports the .wb5.

02

List

Örama puts it on the shelf. Checkout is Stripe.

03

Read

Desktop and Android, the same file, in Örama Reader.

Ö-XL

NÖRGRU // Xperimental Learning

Engineering and experimental learning. These WebBooks are sold here, the same as the shelf above. You buy them on this site, or in the Reader app.

Nothing on the Ö-XL shelf yet.

02 — Örama Studio

The desk where a WebBook is made.

Studio is free. Write the book, export .wb5, send it to Örama. If Örama lists it, you keep 60%. Örama keeps 40%. Stripe splits the sale — including collaborators, out of your share.

New writers fill the module on this page. NÖRGRU approves it. Approved writers sign in at the atelier.

The split

60

40

Writer, sixty. Örama, forty. Stripe can divide the sixty among collaborators. Örama’s share does not move.

  2. 02

    Write

Compose the WebBook. Export a single .wb5.

  3. 03

    Upload

Send the file to Örama. We list what we will stand behind.

  4. 04

    Get paid

Stripe checks out and pays the split. The book stays on this shelf.

Enroll

Send your name, the terms, and pictures of a WebBook made in Örama Studio. NÖRGRU reads the module. You are not enrolled until you are approved.

Sold here

If Örama lists the WebBook, it is sold on Örama. Not on another shelf.

Quality over volume

We list what we will put our name near. A full shelf of weak files is not the aim.

Same file

What Studio exports is what Reader opens and what the shelf sells. One .wb5, three rooms.

Writers keep 60% · Örama keeps 40% · Stripe pays the split

03 — Örama Reader

One app. The shelf. Off the network if it must.

Örama Reader opens .wb5 on a computer and on Android. It is the viewer for the books on this shelf and the files Studio exports. NÖRGRU built Wb5. Örama is where it lives now, on its own ground.

Sample typesetting · not an excerpt

The page holds.

A WebBook keeps its place when the tab would have forgotten it. The file is the book. The reader is only the glass it is seen through.

Android

Same file.

Offline, in the pocket, still a book.

Desktop

A reading surface, not a browser tab you hope stays open.

The computer build is for long sittings: a book that fills the glass, keeps its place, and does not ask the shop for permission to turn a page.

Android

The same file, in a pocket.

Android carries the WebBook you already own. Offline-first means the train, the workshop, and a dead signal are not a reason to stop.

  • .wb5

The Örama format. Not a wrapper around PDF or EPUB.

  • Offline

Once the file is on the device, the network can leave.

  • Two machines

Computer and Android. One reader, two installs.

  • One pipeline

Studio writes it. The shelf sells it. Reader opens it.

What a page is allowed to do

A WebBook can hold type, plates, and motion without becoming a website you have to be online to enter. The page still behaves as a page. That is the whole argument against a static file.

Type

Set like a book, not like a feed.

Plates

Images sit in the page, not in a separate gallery.

Motion

When a page needs to move, it moves. When it does not, it is still.
